Despite the rain and the chilly temperature, an estimate of more than 75 people braved the brutal weather to be in solidarity with their fellow Malaysians in the fight for a fair and clean election. If there is ever a proud moment to be a Malaysian, this is it; “Unity in Spirit, Strength in Numbers”.
Participants were briefed about BERSIH’s objective. Dato’ Ambiga message was shared and after participants sang Negara-Ku sang, they were encouraged to share their stories and views about BERSIH.
Many of the participants followed the development of the BERSIH 3.0 movement in Malaysia online. Even the local radio shared some airwaves about the BERSIH movement. This shows that BERSIH 3.0 has indeed reached the GLOBAL audience.
BERSIH 3.0 Minneapolis thank the staff of Walker Art Center for their kind understanding and support. In TRUE Malaysians’ spirit, participants roughed it out for the length of time allocated. Go BERSIH !!!
