“International Spotlight on Malaysia for a Clean, Free and Fair General Election”
Who? Calling all friends of Malaysia
When? Sunday, 21st APRIL 2013 and beyond
Where? Worldwide
What? A 24+ hour worldwide social media focus on the 13th Malaysian General Elections (GE13), and in particular on the Bersih campaign for electoral reform.
Why? Malaysia is at a crucial point in her history. GE13, scheduled for Sunday the 5th of May 2013, will be the most closely-fought federal elections in the country’s history. In the run-up to GE13, the global momentum gathered by the Bersih movement for electoral reform has shown that Malaysians everywhere have the heart and soul to come together to peacefully demand a clean and accountable democracy.
On this GLOBAL BERSIH DAY OF RE-ACTION!, we call on friends of Malaysia all over the world to join Bersih’s wonderful journey by focusing international attention on Malaysia during the electoral campaign period. The international community can and must play a critical role in ensuring that Malaysia — a UN Human Rights Council member, a Commonwealth friend and ally, and a founding member of ASEAN and the OIC — heeds its democratic obligations and respects the rights of its citizens, and that there is no violence, intimidation or electoral fraud.
We, the people of Malaysia:
· Demand a clean, free and fair campaign period
· Reject political violence
· Demand freedom to vote without threats or undue influence
Support Malaysians in their aspirations for a better Malaysia!

Siapa? Semua insan, sahabat Malaysia dan warga dunia
Bila? Ahad, mulai 21hb APRIL 2013
Bertempat? Di segala pelusuk dunia
Apa yang akan berlaku?
Selama 24 jam online di laman media sosial tanpa henti, dunia dan rakyat Malaysia akan mengimbau kembali segala peristiwa penting, kenangan serta aspirasi dalam berjuang bersama BERSIH kearah reformasi pilihanaraya.
Kenapa? Malaysia kini bukan sahaja berada di persimpangan genting memahat sejarah demokrasi rakyat, malah, kita akan turut berdepan dengan persaingan pilihanraya persekutuan yang paling sengit dalam sejarah Malaysia sejak merdeka, pada tarikh keramat 5hb Mei 2013. Usaha reformasi proses pilihanraya melalui gerakan revolusi aman dan kepimpinan BERSIH, jelas tercermin semangat setiakawan, muafakat serta ketegasan memelihara hak asasi dalam jiwa setiap insan Malaysia di dalam mahupun di luar sempadan tanahair.
Pada Hari Tindak-Semula Bersih Global, kami menyeru semua sahabat Malaysia dan warga dunia bersama-sama kembali manarik perhatian antarabangsa sepanjang tempoh kempen pilihanraya Malaysia. Kami menyeru, masyarakat antarabangsa harus memainkan peranan penting, dalam terus memastikan, Malaysia sebagai ahli Pertubuhan Bangsa2 Bersatu (UN), sahabat Commonwealth, Pertubuhan Negara-negara islam (OIC) serta rakan tetap ASEAN akan mematuhi obligasi demokrasi serta tanggungjawabnya terhadap hak asasi setiap warganegaranya, dan tanpa terjerumus dengan budaya keganasan, paksaan/ugutan serta penipuan dalam proses pengundian
Kami, rakyat Malaysia:
· Menggesa tempoh berkempen yang bersih, bebas dan adil
· Menolak budaya politik keganasan
· Menggesa hak kami terjamin untuk bebas mengundi tanpa paksaan atau ugutan
Sokongilah aspirasi rakyat Malaysia dalam mengecapi Malaysia yang lebih baik.
