Over 1 million Malaysians living abroad should not be denied such access to registration facilities as it is part of their right to vote as citizens. 15 September 2016  Bersih 2.0 has announced that the Bersih 5 rally will take place on 19 November 2016. Prior to the rally, the Bersih Convoy will depart from 6 different states on 1 October 2016. The nationwide convoy will spend 7 weeks travelling to 246 cities, towns and villages across the country to raise awareness about the Bersih 5 demands for institutional reforms and the severity of the 1MDB crisis.
